Our Mission
Unite. Support. Inspire
Every year, the ECTRIMS Annual Congress showcases the most groundbreaking and care-advancing research from around the world. Our Patient Community Day events aim to:
- simplify and contextualise the research presented at the congress, explaining what it means to patients in their everyday lives
- give researchers the chance to hear from patients so they can focus their future work on solving the problems that matter most
- tear down silos between researchers and patients, so we can work together to improve lives
About ECTRIMS
The European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) is a non-profit organisation that serves as Europe’s and the world’s largest professional organisation dedicated to the understanding and treatment of MS. Its mission is to facilitate communication, create synergies, and promote and enhance research and learning among professionals for the ultimate benefit of people affected by MS.
ECTRIMS works with researchers and clinicians of its member countries and with other organisations that share similar missions and objectives on a worldwide scale, creating networking and collaboration opportunities. The ultimate goal of ECTRIMS is to improve basic and clinical research and clinical outcomes in MS.
About Our Supporting Partners
Patient Community Day is a collaborative event made possible through the support of dozens of MS-advocacy organisations from across Europe and beyond. These partners play an integral role in shaping the success and impact of the event by actively promoting awareness, delivering educational resources, and fostering genuine community engagement.
By working together, we create a unique platform that bridges the gap between scientific knowledge and lived experience—offering meaningful dialogue, practical insights, and a strong sense of solidarity.
We are grateful to all our partners for their continued commitment and energy. To see the full list of supporting organisations and learn more about the event, visit: https://ectrims-patient-day.com/supportingpartners
