Esclerosis Múltiple Argentina (EMA) es una asociación civil sin fines de lucro que acompaña a personas con Esclerosis Múltiple, Neuromielitis Optica y otras enfermedades desmielinizantes, promoviendo el acceso a la información, el apoyo integral, la defensa de derechos y la concientización social. Trabaja junto a pacientes, familias, profesionales e instituciones para impulsar una mejor calidad de vida y una sociedad más inclusiva.
MEXCTRIMS started in 2014 with the aims to improve visibility, research and treatment of MS and other demyelinating diseases in Mexico, while supporting healthcare professionals through valuable medical education useful for their clinical practice; providing relevant education for people living with these diseases, as well as for their families, caregivers, and general public to improve their quality of live; and participating in public politics to improve access to treatment.
NMO Brasil exists to welcome and bring knowledge to other patients and their families, as well as to inform, educate and raise awareness about Neuromyelitis Optica. Furthermore, it works in function of public policies for people with NMOSD. Here it is worth mentioning that Brazil is the first country to have NMO Awareness Day on the national calendar, as this was our request. We are also proud to have been pioneers in lighting up a public building for NMO Awareness.
